We go beyond generally accepted practices with a power infrastructure that is based on the best available technology and is the result of our extensive first-hand experience with what works, and works, and works. It includes multiple power grids, backed up by multiple generators, further backed up by redundant UPSs—ensuring your power is always on.

As for bandwidth, CoSentry maintains an N+1 carrier network capacity. As such, we can meet the highest quality and quantity needs for your Internet services. Our carrier class technology ensures your valuable content arrives on time—every time. We use the latest routing and quality management tools to avoid downstream provider issues where possible. We also route to the best available paths using our extensive carrier connections and massive capacity.

Because security is vital, Midlands Data Center and Colocation facility  access requires pre-screening with visual confirmation of identification verification, individual acceptance of security policies, background checks, validation of access rights and badge access. Inside the facility, move­ment is controlled by biometric recognition systems and interior doors with magnetic locks that require pre-programmed security badges, limiting access to all security zones.

So that other .001 percent? That’s another 5.28 minutes of the year you won’t have to worry about with CoSentry.

 

The power you need to grow.

You’ve seen power consumption doubling every few years. In fact, studies show that somewhere between half and 80% of the world’s data centers are functionally obsolete due to insufficient power and cooling capacities.

Designed for green standards certification, the Midlands Data Center and Colocation facility is 50% more efficient in the use of power than the traditional data center. So you have access to all the power you need to feed your equipment and the systems to cool them.

Midlands Data Center and Colocation facility suites are 20 feet from deck to deck to accommodate three-foot raised floors and six-foot return air plenums—optimizing cool air movement within the data center. The use of airside economizers utilizes our four-season climate to provide “free” cooling 40% of the time.

We’ve implemented a cold aisle containment strategy for multiple extreme density cabinets. Vented heat extraction with scalable, redundant and efficient airflow optimiza­tion protects single extreme density cabinets.
